I never planned to be a stay at home parent – but here we are 14 years later! Both my husband and I were raised here in the Pacific Northwest and knew we wanted to stick around. Our families, friends, and church made that easy!
After a career in social work, I stepped away from my counseling license to focus on building my own family. I am blessed to have two sweet girls that bring so much joy and laughter into my life, and a dedicated husband who works hard to support our family in all the ways so that I can be home full time. I don’t take this for granted!

Some challenging situations led us to homeschool our girls as they started their school journey. There are so many things to love about homeschooling, but we also faced unanticipated challenges. After realizing that homeschooling full-time was not ideal for our family (extroverted kid and different learning styles), we adjusted our approach and opted to choose the best school environment for each of our girls a year at a time.
We’ve had a mix each year between public school and homeschool, which has it’s unique struggles bouncing between two vastly different communities. Recently, we settled on a small private Christian school which has been a huge blessing to our family and we see amazing opportunities for our girls to thrive there.
I love exploring graphic design and creating random things along the way. I started an Etsy shop in early 2024 to share items I’d already made for friends and family. Feel free to check out my new shop, it’s growing weekly! (Link at bottom of page)
If this space also turns into a way to support my family financially, that would be a huge blessing, but mostly I hope to create a space where my interests can thrive and inspire others.
I’m excited to see the community that builds in this space…
Thanks for being here!!
